7. The Flag of Kouk Sun-Do

  The flag of Kouk Sun-Do is an emblem of the harmony between man and heaven. The circle of the flag symbolizes the unification of man and the universe, the blue color in the circle and the white color in the ground represent respectively the purified Ki and the substantial Ki of the universe.  
   As the substance of the universe, one "Ki" creates all things and represents their existence, processing the movement of yin and yang. Thus, to the yin-yang function of the universe, the content of yang is expressed as a circle and the Ki of yin as the ground. Also, man, who is a small cosmos, is expressed as a circle and the Great Universe as the ground. In sum, the flag contains the principle of Kouk Sun-Do which is that man, as a small cosmos, harmonizes with the Greate Universe.
